Natural Turf Pitches

We design and develop natural turf playing pitches on greenfield or derelict sites, or make improvements and upgrades to existing pitches where the playing surface or the drainage requires attention.

Funding your project

Steve Wells Associates prepares and submits the funding applications on behalf of your organisation. This can include all consultation, comprehensive site and development plans, programmes of use, business and management plans, and all online applications. Where instructed, we provide full project management through to completion, from the grant claims process to final account.

Football Foundation Funding Expertise

We are particularly experienced in Football Foundation projects, drawing down over £41 million in funding from successful applications in the last few years. Typically, the average grant from the Football Foundation has been around 50% of each scheme’s whole project costs although, in some instances, either partnership funding or the award itself far exceeded that proportion.
